Autumn Slings and Things, LLC was stared in the spring of 2005.  When my first child was born I wanted a way to keep my child close and still get my daily work done.  I tried a number of different products that were on the market at that time but could not find something that I was happy using.  I had an interest in sewing and creating new things and thought that I could come up with a product for holding my baby that I felt happy with.  I wanted to create a sling that was stylish, unique, comfortable and easy to use.  It was important to me that the sling be adjustable so that my husband, our parents and I could all use the same sling.  I also wanted to create something that was one of a kind, something special to our family that no one else had. 

When our second child was born in early 2005 I decided to make my own sling. My daughter spent most of her days in the sling that I made for her.  I was stopped frequently by other new parents wanting to know where they could get a sling like mine.  I realized that this was something that new parents were looking for.  I wanted to create a sling that parents and caregivers would feel stylish wearing, and a one of a kind sling that was special and unique for their families.  With these goals in mind my business was born.

Autumn Slings and Things, LLC is a business that strives to create high quality and useful products.  I carefully choose fabric and put together different patterns  and colors to create distinctive and attractive products.

I have also returned to bag making and have expanded to include one of a kind diaper bags, hand bags, craft and tote bags as well as aprons and other fabric goods.
